The location is prime for exploring, with Kiyomizudera Temple, Gion, and Nishiki Market all within walking distance. The room had a nice fridge and solid water pressure in the shower.

Rooms are cramped with awkward shapes and limited storage. The A/C isn't adjustable by guests, leading to an uncomfortable chill if not turned off completely. Housekeeping could improve. noted were stains on linens and leftover trash from previous guests.

I liked the location and the size and cleanliness of the room.

Super and exceptional setting, I had fantastic time.

Truly enjoyed the location close to tourist spot.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Apa Hotel Kyoto Gion Excellent. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Yasaka Shrine and vibrant streets filled with traditional charm. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made my visit comfortable. 

This hotel is close to the heart of Kyoto. I will stay here again next time.

Location near the serene Yasaka Shrine and easy access to kimono rentals were fantastic. Comfortable beds and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable.

The room size was a bit cramped, and sound isolation was lacking, making it hard to have peaceful nights.

I like the location, it's very close to main bus station and convenient to take city bus to everywhere. Room is clean and shower is clean as well. Staff there is really nice and you can ask some useful 

The owner and staff are very friendly and gave a lot of good advice. The sake bar (essentially the hostel's lobby) is top-notch and has televisions, wifi and some excellent food offerings. The location is right in the heart of Kyoto 

Awesome location near Yasaka Shrine & vibrant Gion streets! The staff was super helpful with our luggage shipment. The room was a bit cramped, though. 😅
